It’s no secret that Don Stiernberg is not only a friend of our series, he is my personal best pal. I love the guy and I love his music. For those who may not know, Don & I attended college together and he is the reason I wound up in Chicago — to play music with him. Don is acknowledged worldwide as a master of the jazz mandolin, and he’s got a fabulous band. Their performances are consistently tuneful and entertaining, filled with swinging jazz and dry humor. Come on out - it’s always a treat to see a show by the DSQ, especially at holiday time.
