Studio5 FAQs

How do I stay informed about Studio5 events?

Sign up for our newsletter HERE!

How do I purchase tickets?

Advance tickets can be purchased online via Brown Paper Tickets. Each event on our calendar contains a direct link to Brown Paper Tickets. Studio5 does not have an onsite box office for advance sales. Online sales close one hour before each show and any remaining tickets can be purchased at the door when the house opens (30 minutes prior to events). If you have questions about your online ticket purchases, please call Brown Paper Tickets at 800-838-3006.

Can I choose where I sit?

Most of our events have reserved seating, and you are able to choose where you sit when you purchase your ticket. Whether an event is general seating or reserved is apparent when you click through to the ticket link. We often offer additional “cabaret seating” at small cocktail tables. Again, that option will be apparent when you purchase your ticket.

Do you have a bar?

Why yes, we do! Is it 5:00 somewhere? Our selection includes beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks and sparkling water. We also serve small snacks (pretzels, nuts, cookies). Our liquor license allows us to serve alcohol before shows and during intermissions, so join us for beverages and socializing when the house opens!

Who has performed at Studio5?

We are immensely proud to have hosted many talented performers at Studio5 since its inception. We have a comprehensive list of our performers HERE, with links for further information.

Are there ways for me to sample your music events online?

Select highlights from our past shows can always be seen on our WATCH page, and a full video archive of our previous shows is available on our YouTube channel HERE. Feel free to browse our library for your favorite Chicago jazz artists and watch complete Studio5 performances whenever you have a hankering ... or even if you just miss us.
