Season’s Greetings from Studio5!

We are excited to welcome you to our Studio5 online home for streaming performances! This event will be available through Saturday December 26th, and can only be found on this site. We hope you enjoy this Studio5 show from December 21, 2019: Tom Mula’s reading of his story, Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol, with a live, improvised score by Larry Schanker. It was a magical night, completely in and of the moment. Tom and Larry had not seen each other in some time before this evening, and gave their performance, intentionally, without a rehearsal. Many thanks to them both for allowing us to share this video with you.

Wishing you joy, hope, health and safety during this holiday season.

All love,

Steve & Béa Rashid

We know that the end of the year is a time when many people do their charitable giving. This event is not a fund raiser, but we have provided a link above for those that are inclined and able to support us financially. Like other arts organizations, we are working hard to persevere through the pandemic and to continue to produce engaging creative content. Every bit helps. Contributions are tax deductible, and Fractured Atlas (our fiscal sponsor) will MATCH any new contribution of $100 or less, up to a total of $10,000! So if you choose to donate, this is a way to double your gift if you do it before 12/31. Many, many thanks.

BTW looking ahead, we have been quietly developing an unbelievable new fully immersive, live online jazz-themed experience, Into the Mist, which we will be launching just after the new year. More on that soon, but for now … on with the show!
